Small groups

As I forwarded this link to our small groups co-ordinator I thought I might blog it as well.

Those of you who are on the BUGB E-news sweep will know how it came to my attention – thank you to the communications team.

On my long list of things to do is to try and get a grip of what I believe small groups in church are for and how to make them more meaningful. My own experience is that they sometimes pastor people to death and keep telling them stuff they already know. Yet they can also form the basis of friendships in church, groups of people who build community by loving and caring for each other.
