Faith Check, a spiritual review

As a church here we don't usually make a big thing of Lent. However, this year I thought we would use the opportunity to encourage everyone to take some time to reflect on their spiritual journey, think about their relationship with God and consider how they might grow in the year ahead.

To help this I've produced a short booklet Faith Check which invites people to work prayerfully through a series of questions. The ideas and questions aren't original to me but feel free to make use of them.

We are also giving those who want an opportunity to meet someone for a 'pray it through' session. If this would be useful to you in your context, I've some notes to help with this and also some small group work to compliment it. Contact me if you are interested.

  1. I think is a very good idea. lent seems to me the opportuny for us all to re-connect to our god and saviour. The real us come closer to him. At the end of the day we all need him and will always depend on him. Unless, we so clever and self-sufficient these days!
